Slovenija in Evropska unija na poti iz krize?
Izvleček
V letu, ko obeležujemo 20-letnico nastanka prve slovenske
države, ki je v tem času postala članica vseh najpomembnejših
mednarodnih integracij, vključno z Evropsko unijo, Slovenija
ponovno stoji pred velikimi izzivi. Ti so prišli morda celo nekoliko
nepričakovano. Zakaj, z vstopom v Evropsko unijo se je na Slovenskem
ustvarilo prepričanje, da je bil s tem korakom izpolnjen naš
ključni cilj in da bomo poslej v varnem objemu Evrope, stran od
balkanskih norij, mirno krmarili svoj čoln, prizadevajoč si, da bomo
v krogu najboljših in ne na repu najmanj razvitih držav članic. Toda
stvari so se, sprva s finančno krizo, ki se je prelevila v ekonomsko,
zasukale povsem drugače. Tako Slovenija kot Evropska unija sta se
znašli v izjemno težki ekonomski in z njo povezani politični situaciji.
Ta prispevek skuša odgovoriti na vprašanje, kako iz nje.
