Demokracija, država in sveto
Izvleček
knjigo Demokracija in država dr. Petra Jambreka lahko beremo kot pričevanje o dogodkih, ki so privedli do ustanovite slovenske države in do njene prve ustave. To je vsebina v ospredju, vsebina v vrsticah, zgodovina. v ozadju in med vrsticami pa je morda še bolj zanimiv avtorjev razmislek o svetem, posebej o iskanju svetega v inštitucijah, ki jih je postavil človek in jih poimenoval univerza, država, ustava in tako naprej. v tem, če in koliko so te reči svete v Sloveniji obstaja širok razpon razmišljanja. od vulgarno materialističnega zanikanja kakršnekoli presežne komponente države, ki ju vidi kot administrativno enoto za ponudbo določenih storitev, do nacionalno-romantičnega, ki narod in državo postavi kot v ideološko, versko središče. Članek analizira Jambrekovo iskanje svetega v demokraciji in državi iz gledišča teorije moralnih temeljev. Njeno razlikovanje med avtoriteto, pripadnostjo in svetostjo napotuje avtorja na sklep, da je razumljivo, da ljudje imamo čustven, z etiko in vrednotami povezan odnos do države in njenih inštitucij, da svetost ni edini temelj, okrog katerega se zbere skupnost.
